Anchored and saturated in foundational Biblical truths, these creations can challenge, inspire, or comfort each viewer individually depending on the season of life they may find themselves in.

I have always embraced art as a medium to bring a message of hope and happiness. Even during the darkest times in my life, I would choose life-giving images, Scripture, and wisdom to paint, regardless of my circumstances.

Therefore, the themes of GRATITUDE, CONTENTMENT, GROWTH, FAITH, COURAGE, and RESILIENCE will always flow through my art.

I tend to use abstract and realistic elements to create hidden symbolism and mystery, for the viewer to discover over time.

My most precious moments of creating art were made when clients shared their life journeys, and then we planned their painting together... the Word and Wisdom that would form the underlying framework and the art images that would speak into their situation. Their testimonies that I have received afterwards were priceless beyond words!

Born in South-Africa, Corneel pursued her art career alongside teaching. She completed a one-year diploma in Fine Arts at Hatfield Christian Church, and a three-year art course at Creative Art Studio in Pretoria.

After immigrating to New Zealand in 2002, she has continued to teach and paint. Corneel has been commissioned by churches, businesses, and private clients to create custom-made works of art.  She has done numerous exhibitions over the years.

Her passion for painting the TRUTH seems to be getting stronger every year!
